All Weekend
School for Super Heroes will be playing this weekend at the Orangeville Opera House. A rag-tag group of students at the Royal Academy of Superheroes is launched into reality when they have to take over crime fighting. The world's Superheroes have lost their powers, and the students in training need to act quickly to save the world. If not, only evil will prevail!
This production is part of the Creative Partners on Stage (C.P.O.S) program which is a partnership between Theatre Orangeville and Community Living Dufferin and provides educational and performance opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. The Scarborough Kennel Club will be hosting the Canadian Kennel Club Championship Dog Shows this weekend at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. The shows will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this is a FREE, family friendly event however please leave your pets at home. For more information go to mjnshowservices.com
Friday
Party Rockers Youth Dance Party will return to the Orangeville Fair Grounds on Friday Night from 7:00 – 10:00 pm for children ages 7 – 13. For more information and tickets go to tickettailor.com tickets will also be available at the door. This event is a fundraiser for Skate Canada Orangeville.
Saturday
The Indoor Farmers Market returns to Orangeville Town Hall on Saturday morning. Come by from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and support the wonderful vendors who are there.
If you are interested in giving archery a try, check out the Archery Experience at the Archers of Caledon from 9:30 – 11:00 am or from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday. This event is for ages 12 and up and will give participants the opportunity what archery is about. For more information or to register check out archersofcaledon.org.
If you are in Grand Valley and have a young child or children stop by 21 Main for their 4-leaf clover hand painting workshop. This free workshop is a drop in and runs from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, check out their website 21main.ca for event details.
21 Main will also be hosting a build a St. Paddy’s Day Leprechaun workshop from 10:30 – 11:30 am. This workshop will provide you with the tools and supplies to build a cute Leprechaun, there is a cost to the workshop head to 21main.ca for more information and to register.
