The weekend is here and there are some fun events going on in our communities this weekend.

Orangeville Music Theater Mamma Mia!

Orangeville Music Theatre opens its latest show, Mamma Mia! at the Orangeville Opera House on Friday with shows Friday through Sunday. This is a great family-friendly show featuring the music of ABBA. For more information and tickets go to orangevillemusictheatre.com.

Teen Advisory Group Orangeville Public Library

The Teen Advisory Group meets on Friday from 4:00 – 5:30 pm at the Orangeville Public Library on Mill Street. This is a great opportunity for local teens to earn community service and meet some great new people. For more details go to the Facebook event page.

Party Rockers Entertainment Orangeville Youth Dance

Friday night join Party Rockers Entertainment at their new location, Spencer Avenue Elementary School for the Youth Dance Fundraiser from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Albion Fat Bike Festival

Saturday at Albion Hills Conservation Area come out for the Albion Fat Bike Festival from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. This is race one of the 45NRTH Ontario Fat Bike Series, you can come out and take part in this fun and growing activity. For more information and for tickets go to webscorer.com.

Orangeville Farmers Market Downtown Orangeville

Saturday the Orangeville Farmers Market returns to Downtown Orangeville from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm inside Orangeville Town Hall. Come out to the first market of 2020 and visit some of your favourite vendors at the market. Orangeville Town Councillor Lisa Post

Town Councillor Lisa Post will be hosting the latest in her Walk and Talk series on Saturday from 12:00 – 1:30 pm starting at the Plaza in the Rolling Hills Neighborhood (Regal Eye Care). Shelburne MPP Sylvia Jones

Sunday at Centre Dufferin Recreation Centre come out for a Free Family Skate with our local MPP Silvia Jones from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Come out for a fun afternoon of skating with your family and friends. Go to the Facebook event page for more details.

If you have a figure skater in your life you can check an Open House at Wendesign at 27 Bythia Street in Orangeville on Sunday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
