It’s the weekend and here are some family friendly evnets going on in our communities.

The Shelburne Fall Fair is running this weekend Friday to Sunday at the Shelburne and District Fairgrounds. There will be events for all ages including beef and dairy cattle shows, demo derby, lawn tractor pulls and races, exhibit hall, vendors, children’s activity area, petting zoo, bike races, hay bale races, Lego station and so much more. The Brampton Fall Fair is running this weekend from Friday to Sunday at the Brampton Fairgrounds on Heartlake Road. Go to the fair and enjoy the midway, great food, live music, a demolition derby and so much more. Go to the  Brampton Fall Fair Facebook page for more details about the Fair.

This weekend is the Beeton Fall Fair Friday through Sunday at the Beeton Fairgrounds. Featuring midway rides and games, delicious food, great shows, homecraft exhibits, great music, fun shows, 4-H competitions, vendor's market there will be something for everyone in the family. Friday evening your kids can start the weekend with Party Rockers Entertainment Youth Dance Party at the Orangeville Fairgrounds OAS Event Centre, from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. This is a fun filled night of dancing and games for kids aged 7 – 13. Check out the Facebook event page for more details.

Join the Orangeville Rotary Club at Lynbrook Golf Course for Fall Fest 2019 on Saturday from 2:30 – 7:30 pm. This is a one day Autumn festival, featuring live entertainment by The Campfire Poets, Pig Roast Dinner, and the 5th Annual Rotary Golf Ball Drop 50./50 lottery. Saturday morning head to Downtown Orangeville and check out the great vendors of the Orangeville Farmers Market from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Pick up fresh local produce or a host of other items that are available. Go to the Orangeville Farmers Market Facebook page for more information about the market.

The Ontario Fire Academy will be hosting an Open House on Saturday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at their training facility on Highway 10. At the Open house you can take a tour of the school, check out live drone demonstrations, food on the BBQ, Firefighter gear to try on, firetrucks to tour, and more.  They will be accepting donation for the Orangeville Foodbank. Mono Mills is celebrating its Bicentennial on Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Victoria Park. There will be food, kids activities, community displays and fireworks. Go to the Facebook event page for more details and schedule.
