It’s Easter weekend, that means it’s a three or four day weekend for most people. There are an abundance of Easter Egg Hunts and other Easter themed events on Saturday. It is also the final weekend of the Indoor Farmers Market. Remember to take some time to relax and enjoy time with the people you love.

The Orangeville Farmers Market will be back, indoors for the last time this season. Come to Orangeville Town Hall Saturday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and support all the great vendors that make the Orangeville Farmers Market so great.

Easter Events

The Nottawasaga Inn has Family Fun Passes available Friday to Monday. With the purchase of a day pass you will have access to the swimming pool, water slide, and four mini golf passes. This isn’t too far a away and would be a good option if you are looking for something to get your children out of the house and moving around. Downey’s Easterfest continues this weekend. Head to Downey Farm on Friday – Sunday for Easterfest activities. There will be Easter Egg Hunts, access to the children’s play area, wagon rides and more. Go to downeysfarm.com for more information about the event.

Saturday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm you can go to Teen Ranch for the Easter Roundup event. There will be Easter Egg hunt, meet the Easter Bunny, ice skating, hay rides, a climbing wall and many other activities for the whole family. Go to teenranch.com for more information.

EDIT: THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Saturday morning at 9:00 am the Amaranth Lions presents, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Paw Patrols own Chase and Skye. This event is being held at the Orangeville and District Seniors Centre on Bythia Street in Orangeville. Go to the Facebook event page for more details and ticket info.

Saturday morning at 10:00 am go to Boston Pizza Orangeville for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. There will be pancakes for breakfast, crafts, colouring and children can meet the Easter Bunny. You can make reservations or walk up the day of. Check out the Facebook event page for more details.

For those in the Grand Valley Area the Grand Valley Downtown Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 am. Bring the kids for a fun Easter Egg Hunt through the Downtown shops that have an Easter sign in their front windows and there will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny. There will be a Community Easter Egg Hunt at New Hope Community Church, The Salvation Army on Riddle Road, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday call (519) 943-1203 to register.

Head over to Island Lake Conservation Area on Saturday and join the Mayer-Harmen Team from 12:00 – 3:00 pm for a Community Easter Egg Hunt event with 3 separate Easter Egg Hunts, at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 pm, face painting, there will be a barbecue lunch items available for purchase, and more fun activities. Saturday at Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex from 12:00 – 2:00 pm check out the Shelburne Easter Egg Hunt. There will be many activites for the children to participate in including balloon twisting, crafts picture with the Easter Bunny, and the Egg Hunt begins at 2:00 pm. For more information go to the Facebook event page.

Join Riveting Adventurez for an Easter Weekend Puzzle Tour in Downtown Orangeville on Saturday from 12:00 – 3:30 pm. The Orangeville SPCA is hosting an Easter Event from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Saturday, you can meet the bunnies and birds that they have for adoption, learn about caring for your pets, read stories out side and there will be loot bags for all the children in attendance. Monday is Kid’s Eat Free Day at Déjà vu Diner, so when your kids are coming down from the sugar high of Easter take them out for a great breakfast Monday morning and start the day off right. dejavudiner.ca.
