Hope everyone had a great time with family and friends over Christmas now you are probably looking for something to do with the kids this weekend. There isn’t a lot going on but there are a few events you can check out to get out of the house for a little fun.
All Weekend Long
Christmas in the Park continues at Kay Cee Gardens Park in Orangeville every night from 5:30 – 10:00 pm until December 31. Thank you to the Orangeville Optimists Club and all the sponsors for putting together such an amazing display for our community. If you are looking for something different to do with your family over the Christmas break you can check out Fairytale Horse and Carriage Services on County Road 11, Amaranth for and enjoy a Winter Sleigh Ride. Friday
Pottery Parties Studio is hosting a Frozen Workshop on Friday with two sessions 10:30 am – 12:00 pm and again from 2:30 – 4:00 pm. You can bring your kids and paint a Frozen themed ceramic princess and enjoy a visit from a special guest. Go to the Facebook event page for more details.
Saturday
Saturday come out to Tony Rose Recreation Centre for Free Public Staking sponsored by Tim Hortons at 1:00 pm and again at 2:00 pm. Grab your skates and your family and friends to come out and have a fun time out on the ice. Go to the Facebook event page for more details.
Saturday you can head to Top Hat Tea Room on Broadway for a Tea Party with Elsa the Snow Queen from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm. You and your kids can enjoy some treats from the Tea Room, crafts, meet and greet with Elsa and a performance of some of Elsa’s favourite songs. Monday
You can give the gift of life. On Monday, Canadian Blood Services will be at the Orangeville Best Western for a Blood Drive from 2:00 – 7:00 pm. End the year with giving your time and help save someone’s life, there is always a need for blood donations. Go to blood.ca for more information.
