The kids are back to school and the weather makes it feel like summer is a distant memory. There are some great events going on #AroundOrangeville this weekend for you to get out and enjoy with your family.

**UPDATE: THE MOVIE IN THE PARK HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER**

Friday night the Town of Orangeville will be hosting an outdoor screening of Mrs. Doubtfire at the Alder Parklands starting at 8:00 pm. Bring you lawn chair and a blanket and enjoy the movie, the concession stand inside the rec centre will be open for the sale of popcorn and other refreshments. Saturday join Orangeville Fire for the 2nd Annual Owen Sheardown Memorial Car Wash from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Fire Station on C-Line. Come out, get a car wash and support a great cause, all funds raised will be donated to Camp F.A.C.E.S. For more information about the car wash go to the Facebook event page.

Saturday morning come out for Tomato Day at the Orangeville Farmers Market from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm located outside Orangeville Town Hall. Come join the Orangeville Roller Girls on Saturday evening at the Orangeville Fairgrounds to watch some spectacular Flat Track Roller Derby. The Orangeville Roller Girls will be hosting a double header event this evening. That’s two games for the price of one, doors open at 5:00 pm. For more details go to the Facebook event page.

Sunday the Brampton - Caledon Airport is hosting it’s annual Airport Day, head to the airport from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and get up close the planes and facilities at the airport, you can visit the Great War Flying Museum and you can see flying demonstrations all day. Sunday you can participate in the Autism Speaks Walk Orangeville at Fendly Park with registration starting at 10:00 am. There will be activities for the whole family as well as snacks and performances. Come out and support this great cause. Go to support.autismspeaks.ca for more details about the walk.

On Sunday, Dig a Little Deeper Therapy will be hosting Walk the Talk 2019 along the Caledon Trailway.  Meet at 10:00 am a the Caledon OPP Station and there will be a hike along the trail with stops for family friendly games and activities that will help promote positive mental health.
